Enicar Sherpa 600 handwind AR 1140 steel case

This nice watch from the 1960’s is the Enicar Sherpa 600 handwind in steel. It is from Enicar’s Sherpa range, named after the expedition in which explorers used Enicar watches, though not sure if their sherpas also did. The solid steel case  measures 34,3 mm without the large signed crown. Logo on the bottom is a little faded and there are scratches on the beefy lugs. The silver origianl dial has a beautiful layout and raised markers. The dial is in very good condition but has some small marks. The movement is a rhodium plated AR 1140 hand-wind with 17 jewels. Tested by my watchmaker and performs well. Comes on a new black leather 18mm strap, ready to go for the next expedition.
