Another iconic watch from the 70s. The Tudor Submariner ‘SnowFlake’ as it is often referred to. For those that don’t know there is “actually” very little difference between the design and conception of Tudor Submariner and Rolex Submariner. Identical in their conception and construction with only difference being in the movements that are used on each respective model. This particular model is a 1977 and has the same case and crown that is used on Rolex Submariners.

Case is sharp unpolished with all markings and serial visible. Fitted with a modified ETA movement instead of the in-house Rolex movements that runs perfectly (timed over 36 hours). Beautifully aged dial and hands with original lume.

Tudor bracelet is from a later model (post ’83) but original in all respects. Fits and looks the ‘muts nuts’ and easy to fall in love with due to its simplicity and functionality.

Rare model and difficult to find in such original condition. I am not one for wearing them, but this one really does wear well and may become my favorite out of all of the diver watches I have.
